However there are but only 1,091 CMSRL holders and 808 licensed FAR holders registered in Malaysia (*source Securities Commission and Bank Negara, as at 31st December 2019), which goes to show that Financial Planner (FP) and Financial Advisor (FA) careers is still a new profession in Malaysia. There is a huge untapped undeserved market, which would greatly benefit from the services of a financial planner (FP) and/or a financial advisor (FA).
